1. Don't assume it is safe. Just because an item is sold by a scrapbooking consultant or as a scrapbooking supply do not assume it is safe- ASK.
2. Learn a little about safety before you buy too many supplies.
3. Buy a book or do research on the Internet to learn about safety. Don't rely on sales people and hearsay for your information.
